1. Definitions
In these Terms:

“Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

“Customer” means any purchaser of goods from us (including Consumers).

“Goods” means any musical instruments, equipment, accessories or other products supplied by us.

“Distance sale” means purchases made online via our website or by telephone, email or other remote method.

“In-store purchase” means purchases made at our retail premises.
2. Applicability
These Terms apply to all sales of Goods by MLC Retail Limited whose company details are: Registered in England & Wales, Company No. 09341697, VAT No. 205-960-808, Registered office: 106 Carter Lane, Mansfield, England NG18 3DH.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (for distance sales).
3. Orders and Contract Formation

Online orders are accepted when we send you a dispatch confirmation email (for distance sales).

In-store purchases form a contract at the point of payment and receipt of the Goods.

We may cancel or refuse an order if Goods are unavailable, payment is not authorised, pricing or product information is incorrect, or we suspect fraud.
4. Price and Payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges (where applicable) will be shown at checkout.

Payment must be received in full before dispatch (for online) or at the point of sale (in-store).

Goods remain our property until paid in full.
5. Delivery

For online orders, we will make reasonable efforts to meet any estimated delivery dates but time is not of the essence.

We may deliver in part and will not charge more delivery than quoted for the whole order.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to you when you or your nominated carrier take possession of the Goods.
6. Right to Cancel – Distance Sales (Consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after delivery. To exercise this right you must notify us by letter, email or telephone. You then have 14 days to return the Goods.
Exceptions: Some Goods cannot be cancelled once opened, unsealed or personalised (for example in-ear monitors, software once registered, custom items).

7. Returns, Refunds and Replacements
7.1 Cancellation Returns (Consumers)

You are responsible for the cost of returning Goods unless otherwise stated.

Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, with all accessories.

We may reduce a refund if the Goods show signs of excessive use.
7.2 Faulty or Defective Goods

You have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act if Goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.

Within 30 days of delivery you may reject the Goods and obtain a full refund. After this period we will offer repair or replacement.

Manufacturer warranties may apply in addition.
8. In-Store Purchases – Returns (Consumers)
Goods purchased in store are subject to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act. Non-faulty returns are accepted at our discretion and will be subject to our in-store policy (proof of purchase required, Goods must be in original condition and packaging).
9. Use of Goods, Custom Orders & Special Conditions

Some Goods (for example connected devices, software, vinyl records) may have additional conditions: you should ensure any accounts are unlinked, data cleared, packaging intact before return.

Custom or personalised Goods are not cancellable under the 14-day right once production has begun.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms will limit our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any matter you cannot exclude under UK law.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or business, or minor specification variations.

11. Loyalty schemes, Rewards & Promotions
If we run loyalty or reward programmes:

Points or rewards have no cash value.

We may amend or withdraw the programme at any time.

One discount code per transaction, unless otherwise stated.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
